Guest guest
Bonnie, let me tell you something that i know you already know. People will notice your body is changing even when you don't realize it and when the scales or the ruler don't show it. It's amazing, but I have gained 5 lbs over the last few months (went to the doctor, so I know this to be a fact becuase I weighed on the same doctor's scales in january and now in May)....well, I've gained 5 lbs but over the last week, I bet no less than 5 people asked me if I'm losing more weight (I'm almost at goal weight). So, I think the body really responds to the breathing, even though the scales may not say so. I have had two people at church just this Sunday ask me to help them lose weight and 3 people at work this week (one I don't even know) comment on how skinny I am. I say all this to say....the breathing must be doing something becuase I am eating like there's no tomorrow and people are still seeing me shrink. So Bonnie, Breath baby breath! You know, I have a little secret I do during my breath. When I blow out through the golden stray, I pray something like, " Thank you Lord for your blessings, I accept your blessings now " , then I inhale through the nose and imagine breathing in the Lord's blessings (just as you would a drink of water). Next time, I might accept God's Love for me and breath in His love. Next time, might be forgiveness, or grace, or whatever. This really seems to put me in a positive attitude and I say this out loud so that if that darn devil is listening, he will realize I mean business!!! Just a little kick in the behind for you to think about. HOpe this helps and Yes, I will be praying for your continued breathing and success!!!! Guest guest
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cristi, that is exactly what I need to be doing. Girl what a blessing you are to me today !! Thank you!! I KNOW you're right about the tape and stuff as when I didn't see any change on the tape, I was asked had I lost weight. And it HAS only been a week and a day since I started back breathing. I thank God for using you today Cristi. He knew exactly what I needed to hear. First you have me so tickled at your description of the waist to waist exercise you did, and then these words of prayer to say while exercising. Who could ask for anything more!!!! Thank you for taking the time to share with me. THANK you!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know how I'll be breathing tomorrow!!! And probably on the way to Bible Study tonight too :-) Thank you God for sending Cristi my way today. Amen. And I mean that with all my heart sis. Guest guest
Cheryl, Great job on doing your 20 this morning. You'll probably notice that you will be gaining back a lot of energy as you increase your total amount of breaths. It's amazing how the effects of the oxygen the our bodies receive while doing Life Lift are able to not only help us shrink, but give us those healthy boosts we need to handle the day to day tasks that inevitably come our way. Tomorrow, try doing at least 10 breaths while still in bed, before you even step foot on the floor. I think you'll find it may be just the thing you need to encourage you on to do an entire work out later on in the day! Don't forget to drink your water and remember to continue to eat. We're all routing you on! Sincerely, Tami
Guest guest
from Alabama, Well, girl, yes, it's been quiet, but we're all still here. Now about that breathing road block. Hummmmm, I've found that the easiest way to get back into the groove, when I seem to fall into bad habits, is to try to do at least 10 and if you can, more like 20, breaths first thing in the morning, while you're still in bed. This, for some reason, seems to create the desire and need for more oxygen, making it a pleasure to do the full workout Then periodically, add a few through out the day, as you think about it. Finally, find a time in your day, when you have the least distractions, even if it's at night, when everyone else is in bed, and supply your body with the wonderful benefits of Life Lift oxygen. It seems that as women, we tend to put everyone else's needs before our own, but if you try to think of your breathing routine as being as necessary and vital as the water you drink or the food you eat, it may help in allowing yourself to find the time to nurture yourself this way. Keep breathing and thanks for the great post! We love to hear from you too! Sincerely, Tami

Guest guest
Hi sis, First off, thank you , thank you, thank you :-) Secondly, the OxyFlow is a cheaper imitation of the Chi Machine :-) Do you know what those are? Here's and URL to site for the Chi Machine. http://healthy-vend.tripod.com/Chi.html This is one of many sites. They're really expensive! So I thought I'd try the OxyFlow since had one and told me about it and then wrote me and told me I could get one at FirstAuction. I got it for $59.00 plus S & H. They sell for $149.00 I believe. So I saved some money :-) Anyway ,she has one and said she liked it. However Darlene has me convinced I need to save up and get the original Chi Machine which I'm thinking of doing after I see how this OxyFlow does :-) She said she WOULD buy another one again and that she actually DID buy another one so she could let others use one and still have one for herself! Hope you had a nice 4th :-) Love{{{HUGS}}} & God bless, Bonnie *****************************With God, ALL things are possible.***************************** I'm proud of you for being consistent, even if you messed up yesterday.LOL.. :-) What is Oxyflow? Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, As you know from my posts on this subject, I am a firm believer in having clean " plumbing " I personally like the Sonne's Products because they are organic and I know from personal experience that these products work for me in totally cleaning out accumulated debris as well as parasites and toxins. I pesonally know that it is a very thorough cleanse. My husband saw how much weight I was losing by cleaing out the plumbing, so, he decided to do it too. You know how men are! He did the seven day cleanse, then kept with a non-mucous forming diet so that his body could continue to cleanse has lost so much weight it is totally amazing! After 21 days, he is back to his high school weight which was perfect for his frame. He has lost 30 pounds and dropped two clothes sizes. That is pretty amazing because it is 30 pounds of fat that went instead of 30 pounds of muscle. His face looks so much better. He is able to be off his high blood pressure medicine and fit into clothes that I actually had in a pile to give away because I had decided that he would never fit into them again! WRONG! I have lost 30 pounds also, I have another 30 to go to be at my goal. For those of you who are interested in cleansing. I am opening my on-line health food store. If you have a favorite cleanse, just ask if I carry it. I can probably save you money on it. I actually have a full line health food store and will ship your items to you UPS. I am still building my web site so, the inventory isn't on-line yet. I am still working out the bugs of the site, but can ship things out now. http://loaves-n-fishes.com If you have questions about cleansing for your health, just ask. This is a subject that I believe very strongly in and can hopefully explain how and why it will help you in your quest for that lean, strong body. It is a perfect companion to LifeLift in your quest for health. Take care, Karma > >Hi guys! >Hope everyone is having a great day! I actually did my usual workout today >praise God! Guest guest
Hi Texas Mom, Thank you! I will keep you posted on my progress. I think that your picture is wonderful and shows just how beatiful you are. You look very happy. I sure hope that my site is helpful. I really would like everyone to be healthy and happy too. I hear from Tami occasionally. She is keeping herself busy, she is focusing on her health and family. One of these days I will be brave and post my picture too. I did that on the bodyflex list several years ago, but my husband went bolistic when he found out because I had posted a picture of me with my kids. He was extremely upset because I had posted the kids pictures on the web. He said it is one thing for me to post my picture, but to put the kids at risk was really very stupid of me! You must keep in mind that he works with criminals and is very suspicious of the Internet. I do understand because when I was teaching and maintaining our school district web pages one of the rules that the district was adament about was that the children's faces were not to be shown. They said it was a matter of safety. I do understand that. At the time that I posted my children and my picture I didn't know that it wasn't a safe thing to do. I haven't built up my courage to post again since doing it before and getting " in trouble " . One of these days I will take a picture of just me and then I will be brave. I will post a before and after. Thanks for sharing your picture with us. Karma list creator/co-moderator >Karma, everytime you mention your 30 lbs. I just get so proud of >you. Guest guest
Havi. Glad things went okay for you. My early endoscopies were done without any meds. so I can empathize with you. The motility tests were a breeze compared to the drugless endos. ED Reporting in Hi, folks!Had the barium swallow Thursday and the motility test yesterday. Both, ofcourse, confirmed achalasia. As for the motility test, the guy who did it said they can't sedate or theywon't get reliable results. I did *not* find it difficult -- maybe that'scuz the only comparison I had was the endoscopy with no drugs at all. <g>Anyway... I'm just relieved at this point that it's looking like the realthing, instead of pseudo-achalasia, which looked more troublesome to me.Thanks for the advice, though -- your info combined with the info from thistechie was enormously helpful!Havi

Guest guest
Dodie congrats on the weight loss. As far as going down a card I think it is do to your metabolism. BUT if you want to try say an 1800 calorie card. That would be 1400 calories a week. Which could result in an extra pound at the end of the month. Reporting in Dodie - going lower can actually make your body think you are starving. It holds onto the food you eat and doesn't let go. That is the simple explanation I have been given - and believe it or not, it is true. I would suggest staying where you should be and taking it slow and easy. Congrats on being 10 pounds lower! That is great. It isn't about how fast we take it off, but rather that we are taking it off! Take Care, 311/250/

Because at that weight you need those particular foods for health - the protein, the vitamins, etc. The less food you eat, the less nutrients your body gets. A smaller body needs less, a larger one needs more. If you eat less, sure, you'll lose weight faster, but you'll also be setting yourself up for health problems related to poor nutrition in the future, like your hair falling out, brittle fingernails, weak bones, and all that. Carolyn, I have to admit that I don't want to wake DH up. I am terrible about turning it off in the middle of the night. Need to work on that. lynne
