Jeanne,

How much magnesium do you take a day? I skimmed the article and

didn't see the amount of magnesium one should take per day to get the

most benefits.

Thanks,

Kirsten

That was an interesting article, but I have a couple more questions. How

important is it to take the Mag with taurine? I believe the author sells

that formulation. He also says he takes no calcium. Is that a good idea?

Thanks, Pat

I take 500 mg a day in divided doses morning and night before bed.

Everyone is different but check the info to see what types as I know some are

better than others.

==>Kirsten, most people require equal amounts of calcium to magnesium,

and some need more magnesium than calcium. Most often magnesium is

more lacking in our diets. How much you take depends upon how much is

contained in your diet. If you are not getting muscle cramps you would

probably do okay on 300-400 mgs. of each per day. In any case, do not

take more than 500 mgs. of a calcium supplement at one time - the body

can only handle that much at one time. I take 300 mgs. of each. Some

days my calcium intake is higher and I take extra magnesium.

I was reading up on Magnesium today and came across a site

that had a tremendous amount of information on more than

just Mg. Also connected Asthma, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis,

Fibromyalgia, Celiac Disease, Candida Dysbiosis, Migraines

and various other disorders to lack of balanced nutrition,

mainly magnesium.
