Guest guest
This has to do with blood pressure..My brother once accidentally stabbed himself in the end of his finger with a pocket knife, was a deep wound, but didn't bleed for long..he 'went into shock' from this and was very scary watching him go in and out of consciesness and speaking 'drivel'...he later recalled having a 'horrible dreamlike/nightmare unlike that of any other he had ever had whilst sleeping'. I have also had the same thing happen to me from just being winded. The body does funny things in these kind of situations, I believe to 'protect us'. Exerpt: 'Neurally Mediated Hypertension', which is Low blood pressure, can occur if you have an unpleasant, upsetting or scary experience. Guest guest
I naturally have always had low blood pressure (90/60) and am very sensitive to situations like stress and blood and medications. I filleted my thumb open with a 'safe' corn cob holder and tanked/passed out. Progesterone cream in anything but a low, low dose makes my BP go down and I get shocky. Epidural during my son's birth made my BP dive. Things like that. The stress has to be personal (other people's blood and stressful situations don't bother me which is a blessing because I used to be a cop!) Stress and anxiety are powerful elements. I don't know if I would worry too much about a chronic condition. Hopefully it will be something to giggle about in a few years. Lord knows I get teased about my corn cob incident! Guest guest
This may be called " shock " . Giving Aconite the homeopathic remedy can help when a child undergoes a traumatic experience or injury. Guest guest
One of the big things that I have read and seen with my family...at least 3 generations...is dehydration is often related to low blood pressure...esp if it is chronic. Guest guest
I do notice dehydration can aggravate my low BP, but hydrating does not resolve it. I feel good at 90/60; my body has adapted well. BUT, a minor drop really puts me on my butt. That makes some medications quite tricky for me. My resting heart rate is also at about 44 beats per minute but I'm thinking that is due to conditioning. Guest guest
Actually, I think changing my diet helped with my dehydration issues. I noticed though that since I started DMSA, the dryness has returned and I believe it is yeast related.
