Guest guest
I have used this product with great success... and have recommended to others who also think it's a great immune support. One child with asthma in particular has had great luck on this.  Vital Kids Berry Well Immune Support. Our nutritionist recommended this product to us and I love it for my kids!  http://www.essential-vitamins-botanicals.com/product_info.php?products_set=VNBW  I give one scoop (in a puree veg. or fruit) at the first sign of a cold. For approx. 3-7 days.  When my son was at his sickest, I gave it daily for approx. 9-12 months. It could be safely given daily for the entire cold/flu season, if needed, due to reoccurring infections.  Improved health. From: stemcellsugars3 <joyce.beck@...> Subject: [ ] Elderberry juice or capsules. Date: Wednesday, December 30, 2009, 11:28 PM  Hi all; Has anyone used Ederberry juice or capsules to boost the immune system? Would this be good for our kids? Thanks for any info you may have on this. Joyce.
Guest guest
I loved Elderberry and we used the ones from Nature's Sunshine that were chewable, along with the chewable L. Reuteri. Both together made a very significant difference. Now, though, we are able to use some other ones, like liquid echinacea and goldenseal, Carvacrol or stronger, but Elderberry is a great medicine cabinet item. Guest guest
I used Sambucol, which is elderberry extract. I thought it did a good job at keeping illness away during the cold/flu season. I have since moved on to oil of oregano capsules (North American Herb and Spice Wild Oreganol) since the kids swallow caps now. They were never a fan of the elderberry syrups. I still have Sambucol in our cabinet. I used it with OoO when the whole H1N1 thing was first creating chaos. I think a few of us still got it but those who took the Sambucol didn't get as sick (or, more likely, didn't even have H1N1).
