Guest guest
I don't eat sugar. Nor dairy. There's a lot of info on the Web on restless leg. Most doctors give drugs that treat Parkinson's. l0 percent of the population has it or has had it. I think it's a neurotransmitter problem and read where some docs think it has to do with serotonin/dopamine levels. Makes sense as I'm trying to get my levels up. is Rotella > > > > > > I've had a revving in my right foot/ankle/leg for a few months, > after > > > th heavy metal stuff started. Guest guest
Vitamin E - good idea, I'll add that to the bunch of vitamins and supplements I already take, and see how it works. Thanks, Judy > > My osteopath told me that Vitamin E can solve the restless leg syndrome, can't remember how much but you might check it out - also eat lots of bananas - potassium is important. > ann >

Guest guest
I have been dealing with nerve issues in my right leg for several years. I have recently started taking a magnesium product called "Natural Calm". Kem Younts <kemyounts@...> wrote: I have a cliet that just found out that she is pregnant with her third child. Also are there any other intervention that might be helpful? She is very motivated and one of the most compliant clients that I have ever worked with. Guest guest
I had the same issues while pregnant due to the positioning of the baby on the nerves. Also involved were the lower areas of my spine. My first recommendation (especially since we are advised not to work with the EPFX device on a pregnant person) is to have them see a chiropractor. Guest guest
Make sure her Minerals (especially potassium, calcium and magnesium), Amino Acids and Fatty acids are balanced. I have restless leg syndrome and unless those 3 things are balanced..I don't sleep a wink. Especially when I was pregnant and or when going through the change. Guest guest
Restless Leg Syndrome, I have been told by a chemist/biologist who now distributes Bio King that it is fungus. I personally have had an experience with it and it comes up on the QXCI as Aspergellus Niger. There are many in the family of aspergellus... I think the Niger is the Black Mold, not sure, check out fungus. There is also a Filiariose, in the blood that only circulates at night, another possibility. qxci-english From: kemyounts@...Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2007 04:47:59 +0000Subject: Restless Leg Syndrome I have a cliet that just found out that she is pregnant with her third child. Guest guest
With reference to the iron, Hulda says that parasites love it and it any iron deficiency can be caused by high parasites, also low iron can be a link to low pituitary function. Avoid conditioners and perfumed items.
Guest guest
In regards to restless leg syndrome. Folic Acid has been recommended by Dr. Tori Hudson, the doctor consultant for the company Vitanica. Many Doctors who know about folic acid recommend this B vitamin for restless legs, this is not new information. In Dr. Hudson’s practice, she uses 20 mg daily in liquid form along with a good nutritional program of wholesome food and supplements. Folic Acid is a B vitamin, taking other B vitamin plus B 12 is necessary. Remember the pregnancy mask is said to be caused by a folic acid deficiency. Folic Acid helps the maturing of red blood cell coming from the bone marrow, which in turn helps pick up nutrients to supply the organs and tissue. When there isn’t enough folic acid the red blood cells look smaller under a microscope. When there isn’t enough B12 the red blood cells look larger. Also, Folic Acid help the finger like projections called the villi in the small intestines stay long and healthy, instead of short stubs or almost smooth. Eating green leafy vegetables are a way of getting Folic Acid. When you have restless leg syndrome eating these vegetable are not quick enough.  I also think the yeast, mold, and candida injures the intestinal track and may shorten the villi. Lack of intestinal bacteria is also a concern. Good EFA are important too. Trytophan and amino acid seems to help also. Notice after eating sugar that there is a tendency to have restless legs. I’m sure that there other food triggers that will also cause the restless legs to happen. Fungus loves sugar. Nothing helps as much as the folic acid balance. I feel the difference fast. Also, beware of fungus, candida and mold. I have used up to 20 mg at a time in tablet form, it works fast and I always feel better. My legs feel much better when I use folic acid in high doses. I use many other supplements. I found folic acid to be very helpful in the endurance factor of my legs. I will take folic acid before playing tennis and my legs feel better longer on the courts and my recovery time is quicker. My legs usually get very tight. Folic Acid seems to help this condition. ( I also, take minerals) I recently did an arterial test using a DPA, Digital Pulse Analyzer, I had the arteries of a 37 year old I’m 55+. I also, must add that I have been using a Cardio Cocktail product. And, I do niacin flushing at times. I use regular niacin not the non-flush types. Circulation is very important, make sure you have good circulation. Again, I do use other supplements. B complex, Minerals, EFA, Protein, a healthy diet, juicing, ect. I have also been addressing the fungus issue. Guest guest
For RLS, try taking 2 Magnesium Bis-Glycinate before bed. (I buy Source Naturals brand.) This form works best for me. The magnesium is used for relaxation of muscles. It also helps me not to grind my teeth during sleep. Beverly
Guest guest
I am not sure what Bee's recommendations would be but I cured mine by dumping gluten, dairy and most carbs. It was particularly the gluten that affected it and the only time I get it now is if I get 'glutened'. I also had IBS and awful stomach pain and dumping the gluten sorted that too. My RLS was so bad that it would keep me awake for hours most nights. I hope that as I continue on Bee's diet and my body starts to heal that any future brief exposure to gluten will no longer be a problem. Whatever the outcome, I intend to never go back to consuming the Western Diet and all its extremely damaging food.
Guest guest
Posted by: "tonicollin@..." tonicollin@... tvcollnn I had restless leg syndrome for a few years and the Rx prescribed by the doc did NOTHING for me. Fri May 13, 2011 12:38 pm (PDT) Just a suggestion about Restless Leg Syndrome. I used to suffer from it terribly, but two "weird" supplements have helped me immensely. The first is that I supplement with magnesium. The only way I can take a high enough dose is by using a sustained release formula (I don't know if it's OK to say a brand name). The second isn't actually a supplement. Someone told my husband that placing a bar of soap in the bed helps prevent leg cramps and restless legs. This sounds so weird, but there are testimonials all over the Internet -- and no one is making money off these testimonials. The guideline is that any brand of soap works except Dial, Dove or Ivory.Since "sleeping with soap," my leg cramps have gone from several-per- week down to one or two per month. My restless leg syndrome has completely disappeared. I hope this helps.Toni P.S. I also have Hashi's. *********************** I had restless leg syndrome for a few years and the Rx prescribed by the doc did NOTHING for me. We were on a trip and a lady I met one evening (when I said I was exhausted as I hadn't slept well the night before) told me to eat a banana. It worked! When we came home from the trip I quit the Rx and bought some potassium pills (with some Magnesium) and started taking one every evening before bed. Where I used to have problems with the RLS every night, now the incidence is more like once a month or so. Marti
Guest guest
Where do you put the soap? Under your pillow? down at your feet? under the mattress? And please, go ahead and name the brand. > > Just a suggestion about Restless Leg Syndrome.
