Guest guest
Dear , I've mentioned a couple of times in the last couple of days, on one newsgroup or another, that I'm training my local Internist. I also started w/ Dr. Burr.'s article and, tho I highlighted it down to about 5 pages, he read it in its entirety. I also gave him one by Dr. Bransfield (4-5 pages - highlighted to 1-2) because my Lyme is very psychiatric and Bransfield is my Lyme psychiatrist. He read that in its entirety as well. I'm considering what I'm dropping off next myself. I've explained my diff. test results. It is wonderful to hear you are tackling so many. How ironic is it that we, the sick and untrained, are now educating (free) the MDs who haven't a clue. I feel it is worth mentioning that it is a good idea to start w/an MD w/whom you've had a good relationship. Quite an advantage when they know you weren't whiny or crazy before. My MD is an Internist and I can only hope his learning will spread throughout his practice. You have made me aware I can do more. My husband and I are at the same income/IQ range and are friends and neighbors with many MDs. Recently, my son's Orthodontist wrote me asking whether to get the vaccine...cool, a little respect! I believe sheer nos. of victims, ever increasing, along with -Slyme-Beecham's push NOW for the Lyme horror picture to be shown full-force which will alarm people enough to run for the vaccine. Double-edged sword...who knows how many will be injured by the vaccine (sad), yet now S-S-B has slimed Yale (no longer any need for their Lyme tales) joined forces, to some degree, w/LDF and are great proliferators of the magnitude and prevalence of Lyme coast-to-coast. So, between the factors revealing the truth and the sure realization of many un and misdiagnosed Lyme sufferers and the increase of infections...who's gonna' treat them all? MDs can not learn this tricky, multi-faceted treatment and diagnosis overnite. And, so, we go out with purpose and foresight to teach MDs what they should've known and bring hope to the masses. I will spread the news as much as I can. Thank you, , Judy
