I just recieved a call from Jim G of St Croix Falls WI who had called me

previously to ask for help. He had been diagnosed with LD some time ago and

recieved some treatment but afterward began having many bewildering

symptoms. When he called me a month ago he was losing weight, unable to eat.

He was looking for an LLMD. I called a friend in his area who had been

treated long term for LD they were unable to connect at that time.

In the mean time he says he went to Mayo had tons of tests and came back

with no diagnosis and no treatment. He had applied for help with medical

bills from his county and was assigned a worker. He visited the MD that my

firend recommended and a county MD. The county did not do any tests and

took him off of the antibiotics he was taking, Zithromax. His diagnosis at

this time is anorexia and they want to commit him and treat him but without

testing for Lyme Disease or antibiotics and he is very scared as he says

that the last time that he voluntarily did something similar his limbs

swelled up and he is afraid he won't survive this time. The MD my friend

reccommended does not feel he knows enough about the case to get involved.

Jim has some confusion and is down because of not being able to resolve his

medical conditions. I told him that he would have to find medical help for

LD out of this area because no-one will treat Chronic Lyme here with or

without positive tests and I wanted to find some legal advise for him ASAP.

Am I right that there are now tests available somewhere that should tell one

way or the other whether he still suffers from LD? I could only tolerate a

very very limited diet for almost a year during my early treatment so I am

aware that that can be part of the disease.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
