Guest guest Posted January 30, 2000 Report Share Posted January 30, 2000 Hello all, I have been meaning to write in a suggestion for anyone with liver problems....pain or elevated enzymes or just those who take lots of meds for whatever reasons....or those who were/are exposed to chemicals and toxins....(bug sprays, smoke, gas fumes, etc) I have liver problems.....severe painful episodes....(even tho its said that the liver does not feel pain....no nerve endings....but I know many friends with liver probs that have pain too)..... My enzymes are elevated....(I am due to get new tests done in a few weeks).....My liver is longer than most....but still in the normal range (so they say) and my pancrease (sp) is enlarged but other tests are unremarkable......(assuming they were read correctly....I no longer have much faith in the medical profession) Anyway, in my search for info on liver disease.....I found a liver list that I subscribe to. MANY on the list recommended one supplement......more so than any other around.......and that was to take LIVERITE There is a web site for more info.....www.liverite.com They have different formulations...mine is the basic.....it cleans out my liver.....(I get diarrhea, pee lots, then feel great!!!) It gets all the toxins out. It gives energy....in my case not too much....but others who take it swear it gives them LOTS OF ENERGY....so it may do that for you. I take one a day....but you could take three a day. or more if exposed to toxins....or coming off antibiotics....to get them out of your liver. I took more in the summer when they were spraying every other day for mosquitoes......that was really making me SICK..... You can buy the liverite on the web site...but I bought mine at Eckerd....they have at other drug store chains...they are listed on the web site too. PLEASE......try it.....the tablets really smell bad....but just hold your breathe and drink lots of water.....its worth it!!!!!!! I had problems taking milk thistle....and some other supplements... but I have had no problems with the liverite.......I know to expect to be close to the potty afterwards...until I am all cleaned out...but not everyone has that effect on them. Its worth it....and our livers are worth it.......any drug you take... EVERY drug you take goes thru the liver.....some drugs hang around in there....and don't want to leave....the liverite chases them OUT!
