Dear Helen,

So sorry to hear about your daughter's bulls eye rash!

I HATE THIS DISEASE!!!!!

Did you start daughter on high dose abxs right away???

Don't mean to tell you what to do here - but I can tell you what I'd do - Id

get abxs & dose her heavily NOW before disaease has a chance to really " set

up camp " in her body! Maybe your LLMD will see her right away & test for

co-infections (heard they're very common now a days).

Blessings

Marta,

I to have A* blood and my body does the exact same thing as yours. I

always prided myself on my iron stomach. By the way, thanks Vicki, and

everybody else who posted about e-mail by phone. I now am scheduled to be in

E. Hampton on the 19th of March and begin HBOT on the 20th. I won't be in Md.

Plans have changed about going to their facility. Ok anybody. I need support

BIGTIME. The other shoe has dropped. Our wonderful 21 year old daughter who

was on IV meds the summer before she went away to college and has seemed FINE

until now just came home last night from college (she is a junior) and showed

us a hugh horrible bullseye on her right ribcage. Honestly, I almost fainted

but tried to be strong. Please God, I hate this damn disease. I cried for an

hour--she didn't see me. I am numb. Luckily we are about to leave for an appt

with a local LLMD who has agreed to help us all if we need her. We really

see Dr " B " but that is a haul. Took pictures and a video last night. I didn't

sleep 5 hours. Pray for us. This is so hard. I am sick over this.

Love,

Helen

Dear Helen,

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter, but glad to hear that you didn't

go to MD.

I inquired about their HBO site and didn't hear good things. My daughter and I

have

started HBO at Hyperbaric Services of America (mostly at Great Neck--we had 1 tx

at East

Hampton the day of an appt with Dr. B.) and are very pleased with how we are

treated and

they follow the Fife (sp?) protocol. We've finished 1 week of treatments. I had

a

horrible herx (haven't felt that bad for 3 years) starting the night of the

first 2 txs

that lasted 1 1/2 days. Then I felt my usual okay but not normal.(I mean like

pre-Lyme).

My daughter hasn't had any sign of a herx and I don't know whether to be glad or

anxious.

Good luck to you during your treatments and I hope your daughter gets

treated fast

and with big doses.

Eileen
