Guest guest
Hoping someone might have some suggestions. We have made a lot of progress over the past 3 1/2 years with our son and his IGG deficiency. My husbands company is now changing health insurance providers and it looks like we will be hit with an additional $6-8,000 per year in additional costs, since the new carrier has different coverage. Does anyone have any suggestions, websites or experience in submitting insurance appeals? We're not even members until January 1, and have been advised our treatments will be denied. Gotta love managed care. Our new carrier is Independent Health in NY. Thanks for your help. , Mom to age 41/2, IGG def, Food intolerances, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity , Preston, age 18 months and healthy! Guest guest
Dear , I don't know if this will help. But my husband's company is also changing insurance companies and my research revealed the following: In Massachusetts there is a special Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan for children whereby for about $100 per month your child is covered. They cannot deny any child coverage and I believe that if you currently have insurance and move to the plan they cannot mandate a waiting period for preexisting condition. I don't know if New York has anything similar--but its worth a call. Secondly, we are moving from Blue Choice to Cigna and at first the human resources manager said that pre-existing conditions may not be covered. My husband got a number of other employees who had children with special health needs to talk to the human resources manager one of whom I believe was a vice-president who had no idea of the new insurance restrictions. As a result of employee lobbying, the HR manager is getting waivers for all pre-existing conditions (which means the insurance company or the company will pay for medical expenses as soon as they start the new plan). Hope this helps. --Martha (mom to Chrissy IgA deficiency, pacemaker, polysaccharide antibody deficiency etc.)

The l-Taurine needs B6 and Zinc as cofactors. How much Magnesium do you take? Yes, white potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and green peppers (not the hot ones) ALL have small amounts of a neurotoxin. They are special occasion foods in our home. The other category of foods to be wary of are the excitoxins like sugar, nutrasweet, caffeine..... the stimulants. My son has a meditation video that he really likes, it's by Shirley McLain and came out over ten years ago. THere are audio meditation tapes also. Hope this helps mjh
Guest guest
Is it really possible that this process can eradicate HSV or just help the immune system to keep it at bay? Guest guest
It does neither one. It can eliminate any virus it touches. It does little or nothing for the immune system. It may not touch them all. The skill comes in locating them so they can be touched. I doubt you could eradicate, since it hides all over. But you can control it so low it might as well not exist. DC current seems to neutralize virus...all virus. But, if it never reaches them, it won't. you have to be savvy in applying it, but if you are, you will win. > >>>>> Hi AZ.
