Guest guest
Hello, I finally started the Andrographis three days ago on Tuesday, Natures Way at 2 pills a day. Tuesday I was a bit more tearful and depressed. The next day I felt a bit tremolous but otherwise ok. Yesterday was one of the more frightening days during my treatment. I was irritable, looking for a fight to pick. Unable to write or recall events from the day before. I felt restless, agitated and then crashed into a state of depression o. My heart was pounding and palms sweaty. My sleep had also become light and restless with vivid dreams on the andrographis. I had started some of the cleansers and have been doing detoxification for a while. I thought most likely it was die off still. I have battling lyme for two years though, with herbs and rife, so did not expect such a severe herxheimer like reaction. In the evening I spoke to my LLMD, who is an herbalist and homeopathic doctor with years of expertise. He felt that I would not be able to take andrographis at all and told me to stop it. The andrographis had tested strongly by kinesology so I was rather confused. My doctor thought that the andrograhphis was being converted by my body into form that was causing imbalance with my neurotransmitters. A situation kinesology could not have predicted. So I'm at a lost. Has anyone experienced a similar situation, did it improve with andrographis being a useful part of your treatment. Could this have been die off in my CNS causing the rage and depression. Any input would be valuable as I make the decision on wether to restart the medication. Thank you all.
