Hi ,

Sounds like a great idea to me!!! <G>

When my hubby was on doxy in '98 he didn't heed the warnings about

photosensitivity and he had major burns on both of his forearms. He

could even feel the sun burning him through his windshield! It took

months for his forearms to clear up - awful rashes from the burns.

This year, he's smarter. While he's on the Doxy he's using a sunscreen,

recommended by the pharmacist - DuraScreen. It's expensive, but it

works really well for him. It's a once-a-day, all-day sunscreen, as

well as being waterproof. It's a UVA/UVB sunscreen lotion and isn't

greasy - is quickly absorbed. He's able be outside for hours and so far

(5 weeks) no burns!

So, if you decide you don't like being waterlogged <G> you might give it

a try. It's over the counter, but I think you have to get it from the

pharmacist - it's not out on the shelf.

She needs to be tested for Von Leidens, also known as Factor V , its a

blood discragia that causes excessive clotting. I have it, its genetic and

seems to follow northern european familes. Plavix or some similar med, for

life, is the tx. It causes strokes, DVTs , we cannot be on hormones nor take

Birth Control Pills. It only adds to the Lyme fun *-)

right range so they are trying to figure out what is going on with her. She

has diagnosed to need a hysterectomy that she had put off until Aug.

Hmmmm contact those in D.C. who are representing you! I have been emailing all of my senators, house of reps, govenor & prez to speak up on this and other fun things they're wanting to do to We the People. I'd encourage others who don't like how things are changing to do the same. If we don't speak up now it'll take forever and a ton of money to reverse it in the courts. If you do like how things are going then let them know that too;-) You can contact your state reps at:http://www.house.govhttp://senate.govhttp://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtmlhttp://www.whitehouse.gov/contact<<Posted by: "tbayuk" tbayuk@... tmbayukFri Jul 10, 2009 6:02 am (PDT)President Obama and big-government politicians in Congress have said they want Americans to have health care as good as they have. So why aren't they jumping to join the new public health insurance plan they're trying to create? I know you're shocked to hear this ... but members of Congress are planning to keep their gold-plated, taxpayer-funded benefits packages while putting the rest of us into a government health care plan. If this new plan is supposed to be so great, why aren't they going to join it? What hypocrisy. There's even more hypocrisy and outrageous political payoffs in this health care takeover. Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus wants to tax our health insurance to help pay for the government takeover - but their scheme exempts the unions from the tax increases! I'm not making this up.Along with members of Congress and federal employees, union members have the biggest, richest benefits packages in the nation, but they would be exempted from this new tax>> Kem in Eugene <º)))><
