Guest guest
Yesterday I was driving, and for the first time in a very long time, I was spacey. I even put on the wrong turn signal once, and didn't realize I had done it until I turned it off. I got where I was going, stopped in the ladies' room, and found I was covered in a rash. I was flushed red from head to toe, with a more blotchy rash on my abdomen. Since Buhner says andrographis is the most likely culprit for causing a rash, I discontinued it, and kept right up with all the other herbs. By evening, I felt normal again - no rash, no flushing, and clear-headed. I even took my horse for a riding lesson, and I didn't completely s*ck. (I've lost a lot of coordination and tone and muscle memory and balance, so I'm kinda starting over.) So, for now, I'll stop the andro. Maybe in a few weeks I'll try adding it back in lower doses, and see how I do. Anyone else have cognitive problems with andro? If it weren't for the rash, I would have just blamed Lyme. But without the andro, I feel fine. D.
