I second Ballady's words to you . Hope you're ok with this. I

was afraid I had hurt your feelings and/or brought dissension into

the group, which I certainly do not want to do. I had jst been

telling someone that, altho the relative anonymity of the web can

bring out the worst in some folks, on our list, there is such

gentleness and caring that it feels more like a circle of

support/friendship, more like a loving embrace, than a "

group " .

I've been worrying all night.

Thanks Ellen. It's easy to be defensive but I knew your intentions were from a

good place and

you were not attacking me. I have had others say the same thing, but in a very

different tone

that was very upsetting to me. I want you to know that you did not force me to

do anything I

did not want to do. I listened to your comments, and also had conversations with

others and

felt it was the best thing to do.

i feel blessed to share this space with each of you--so many talented,

caring people willing to share your gifts.

i too was thinking of encouraging julie to add a donation option for planet

thrive. i know first-hand how much work and what skills it takes to develop

and maintain a website of the complexity of planet thrive. i worked for over

22 years for religious education publisher, 17 as manager of

editorial-production dept. 3 years i was coordinator of electronic marketing

and research, where i helped develop a large website. (now can't even type

one memo without severe increase in pain.)

each of us has limited resources in some ways and abundant gifts and talents

in other ways. perhaps you are currently short of money, but you are blessed

with time and some energy to help research and write your discoveries to

share with us, and/or less brain fog for sharing your insights. it's my hope

that we can each contribute what and when we are able and find ways to

collaborate so that we don't waste our precious energy when many of us are

so very ill.
