Guest guest
Hi Judy, I have been flying since I was a kid, and a few years ago on my way to Auckland, the plane was hit/flew through lightening. Since I was asleep at the time, it caused a commmotion in the cabin - everybody woke up when the captain did his thing... I always have a carry on bag, very small, with me, in case I get 'stuck' somewhere. Believe me, it is a very small backpack, since I am not into carrying stuff. An emergency credit card for these types of 'crises' comes in handy too. (my old girl scout motto, be prepared!) By the time we landed in Auckland and I got off the plane I felt ready for a major sedative, but my guests were there to welcome me, we went straight to their place, where I showered and slept in total peace for 12 hours. What did me in on that flight was not the lightening, but the people freaking out and also loosing about 5 hours of sleep I had planned on. Stress of anykind will cause my CMT symptoms to surface, in the case where I get no sleep, I get tremor surges, my #1 CMT complaint. I am so sorry your daughters had such a rough time of it. ~ Gretchen
