" oh no, that test is going thru revalidation, we cannot draw blood for that....so they draw blood for his other lab work...... call Igenex...test has been back on-line 2 weeks.... call Kline and left a message...at 3PM, got assurance the test can be drawn...sorry but take your son back and get the blood drawn and we will make sure it gets sent out.....(lady in referral lab testing) fast forawrd...patient me realizes kid had Dr. appt. next Monday AM when Igenex is not open yet due to time difference...decide to see if lab results were done and faxed over..... WHAM...bad news... " we never received a specimen for your son " more bad news...called Kline...they threw out specimen after they saw it was in a lavender top tube (actually 2 tubes were drawn as recommended....) made a few phone calls and it seems the sample NEVER even made it to the referral testing area that was to send it out to igenex..... I explained to the lady this was the 8th lab specimen SKB has chucked on my family (in less than 6 months) despite being properly drawn and labeled... the first was a WB, then 6 LUATS, and now this...As i explained to the lady this one was the most important of all....All I could do was cry........Bernadette Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
