, so sorry to hear about Sasha. Lot's of cyber ((((HUGS)))) to

you both. Lost my best buddy recently to cancer and it is devastating

how sudden the onset can be. Our animal friends are so stoic in their

suffering, they never let on, they are truly one of God's greatest

wonders. There is no easy way to deal with the loss but as someone else

said, remembering all the good times you've shared helps. I know when I

first found out I felt horribly guilty that maybe if I hadn't been so

wrapped up in my own illness I would have noticed his or that his life

had some how been cheated out of activity because of my own health

limitations. I couldn't run and play and exercise him properly but the

truth of the matter is there is very little that can diminish us in the

eyes of their love and that is a wonderful gift to know and tuck away

when it is time to part. No doubt you are everything in Sasha's eyes

for the love you've offered.

Thinking of you both and hoping that if things can't turn out happily in

the end (just an infection) than they will at least be quietly peaceful.

beth, my heart goes out to you. I just wanted to pass along an idea.

Before we lost Tasha we had devised a system for when she was in heat...it

worked really well. We used a pair of mens underware, put on backwards (the

hole for the tale). We held it on with two small boot straps (these are small

bungie type cords that military personel use to hold their camies into their

boots) wrapped around the waist of the underware. Then we put a super maxi in

the needed area. I know that to picture this will make you laugh ( I still

do), but it works great.....no more sagging diaper. Much love to you both.
