Help with head pressure-pain

I'm sorry your in so much pain. I just started acupunture and I believe it

is helping with the pain. My LLMD gives me trigger point injections in my

head and it relieves my head and jaw pain. I hope you feel better.

Trazodone is Desyrel, an old anti-depressant. It doesn't relieve depression

well, but is very sedating. It's not a narcotic. Methadone is a narcotic and

used for pain control mainly now. It works very well for severe pain. It was

used initially for heroin addicts in place of heroin. Methadone carries a big

stigma, but it is a very good pain med. for those needing a narcotic.

Call your doc! Holiday or not and if he still refuses go to the ER.

Thet will give you something for pain. Sorry this is so late but just

got up the energy to check the mail and start to answer stuff. Let us

know how you are doing.

I'm also on relefen... I LOVE THEM!!! I also

take a mild antidepresent effor. I think it has helped greatly. My famliy

also says that I'm handling everything very well for being soo sick.. I

think the antidepresent has a lot to do with it. My doc said that it also

helps with the pain.

, I have been extremaly depressed lately and was thinking of trying

an antidepressent. What is Effor and how many mgs do you take a day. How

much longer are you staying on the Zitro/mepron and bicillin. Is it helping

I think you have me confused with the other . There are 2 of us and

I have gotten confused myself. I always sign my posts L or L

(MI) . I dont think the other is in MI. We had this problem with 2

Connies and I think there are a few s and a few Helens. I know I

have to really look sometimes when I answer a post. LOL.

Effexor 75mg a day. I know there are tons of antidepressents out there. I

think anyone with an long-term illness should be on anti-depressants. I'm

still on flaygl/zithro/mepron/bicillian injections. I'm doing better. Hang

in Val. I felt horrible at first with mepron and zitro and then I improved.

Did you ever try cataflam? 50mg.CDS--It's a NSAID --worked well for Lee when

he had face, ear & jaw pain. Not to good for the liver if you take a lot

--but what is??? He called it the little brown miracle pill. I know you

will feel better soon.
