Guest guest
Hi Rose, I must admit I like your manic stage, as well as R. " follow the bouncing ball " name for it. I agree with all you write about most of the western states and all of the fly-over states " (as they call them in Los Angeles) do not have a clue about LD nor do they want to know. Lately so much coverage now on the West Nile Virus here in the East, mainly due to the fact that the winter did not kill the mosquitoes that carry it, I know this disease is a killer, but I was somewhat jealous of the coverage. The media loves this kind of stuff....death is news I guess, but everyday suffering, bankruptcy and anguish just don't cut it. Hugs, Marta From: " J. 'Rose' Rose " <therosewriter@...> Hi, Ya'll,One reason I feel we aren't getting the needed press coverage here in Texas is that Lyme disease is not a well-known topic here. In fact, it is practically a nonentity in most people's minds and wouldn't be remotely important to them. In the government arena, there is a major cover up. Why? Because Lyme disease is a threat to commerce and they think of it as something that only occurs in the Northeast.
