Opinions on Flagyl(Metronidazole)?

Hi Marta,

I was sorry to read about your dr. appt. It is heartbreaking that you have to

deal with that sort of thing while being so sick. I pray there are some

breakthroughs soon for all those that are suffering.

There has been discussion on sci.med regarding flagyl, and comments by the

researcher, Dr. Atkinson-Barr.

Have you tried this yet?

I would like to hear opinions from anyone who has used it past or present.

My daughter in law, in Oregon will be starting treatment soon. Her dr. was

talking about 3 wk. IV, but she has told him that her brother-in-law has been

on abx for 6 months for early lyme. I hope he listens and is responsive. She

first had symptoms of lyme 10 yrs ago, growing up in MN. Had a brain cyst

removed at that time and has had continual symptoms,joint and neuro.
