Hello out there? I can't believe that all but one person has responded to

this post. Did everyone just gloss over it? I emoted a response but was too

afraid to hit the " Send Now " button, out of concern that I would be asked to

resign from the list. I'm so pissed that I'm still seething and its been 24

hours since I read it initially. Maybe because the focus is on the protest.

just because it upsets you...does not mean it will upset everyone...a lot of

us here have been around long enough to know one article does not the truth

make...

whenever someone asks me about symptoms of lyme disease.

...I tell em an assorted list..and often I watch their mouths drop open

..and end with...basically you start feeling like you are a

hypochondriac...but then I tell them a true hypochondriac focuses in one one

symptom......

there ARE people out there who are truly ill with " somatic compaints " and

like it or not....some doctors will lump lyme patients in with them....

if you are going to a doctor you have gone to for a long time...they will

definitely believe you compared to a first visit with a new

doctor...especially if u were in great health before....when I went to my

doctor...i never told her I couldn't walk up the stairs anymore...or the

asst'd bizarre symptoms I was having because they were so non specific to one

organ.....but when I got the 1st borderline positive WB...and read the

symptom list.....the lightbulb went on...I called her back....told her what

symptoms I was having.... but had not told her....and IV treatment was

ordered.....not everyone is that lucky...

but I refuse to flip out over one article...and I hope you realize it aint

going to help your health to get too angry over stuff like that...all it does

is hurt your recovery and leave you to weak to fight for the really important

lyme issues....
