Hi All,

Just picked this up from another list & thought you folks may be interested

in this preventative measure.

<<I came across an interesting blurb in Scientifc America. They did a study

in India where they floated peppermint oil on a larvae infested lake. A day

later nearly all the larvae were dead! The volunteers spent several nights

outside covered in peppermint oil and the amount of mosquitos that landed

was reduced by 85%! It was particularly effective against the breed of

mosquito that carries malaria.
