Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I know what you mean about those social events, had a surprise birthday party for my mother last week, and I hated to go and let all my relatives see how much weight I gained, but could not get out of it no matter how hard I tried....guess I will be the talk of the family for awhile....LOL! Glad the wedding was fun for you, even though you have to continue to answer you are still sick....Hope you have recovered too. I loved your idea of telling people you are writing a book....I might steal that one...LOL! Hugs, Marta (NJ) >From: cheryl@... > >Hi Marta! Sorry, I don't know where that was taken from, or who originally posted it. > >The wedding in PA was great (I can't believe these two friends are now married), but also really took a toll on me. Still recovering! I am glad it was a cool day and symptoms weren't too bad. Thank God for answered prayers. It would have been a nightmare for the bride if something went wrong. I was able to stand. ;o) Also thankfully I managed to hitch a ride home, or else would have been stranded. lol > >It was somewhat stressful when all the friends I haven't seen in a while ask what I'm up to, and I have to say nuttin, still el sicko. I'm sure I looked too beautiful for them to believe that. *giggle* Don't we all. I hate social events. I later thought I should have said I'm working on my book.
