Guest guest
hi, I went off Cirpo last week due to hives on the left side of the abdomen for two weeks.. The dr was out of town on vacation and the attending physician told me to get off it. I have no idea if it is part of herxing or an allergic reaction. I was so disappointed last week because I went through two herx cycles and felt I went through them for nothing. The dr will be back this week. I have no idea what to expect. I don't even know if it is worth staying on Cipro or not. If one gets an herx reaction to a particular antibiotics, it means this antibiotic is working better than others.. that s the impression I am getting from some people. I felt the herx reaction to Cipro really screwed my life the last one and half months... excessive sleeping, being groggy and zombie... I dont want to continue on it because of the herx reaction, but I will if I feel it is worthwhile.. But is it too dangerous to go on anti histamines ... not knowing if it s an allergic reaction or not? Stumped and frustrated, elizabeth
