Guest guest
I can't remember which site on the www has info on the different tests for Lyme. I know there was one detailed one ... some where ... over a rainbow .... in my sleep ... The bad news is my mother was bit in 1987, had the bull's eye rash, tested negative and now wants to be tested with THE DEFINITIVE TEST. I told her there wasn't any. She is totally confused. And to add to the confusion, she will probably never test positive. She has 's Disease and as a result Diabetes. She must take cortisone every day. So that alone would alter the tests. Her symptoms are getting worse: fatigue and " jello " legs when it is hot or when she is stressed. It is only since my diagnosis that she finally decided to do something about hers. My father may have it too. He has a " colitis " which comes and goes, fatigue and memory problems. Their house is a real mess! My father's office is a disaster area of papers and books piled everywhere. I am urging both of them to get treated and to forget about the tests. I told my mother to just walk across the waiting room to my doctor's office if her doctor insists that a negative results means no Lyme disease. Kiana Once a R.N., always a R.N.
