Guest guest
My acupuncturist is from China and is very knowledgeable about herbs. he said to be careful with sarsaparilla, because it can be toxic. Some of you said you were herxing on it. Is it a herx or is it toxicity? Just want people to be careful. Annie S.
Guest guest
My LLMD has me taking a tincture of sarsparilla for detoxing purposes. I put a dropperful in my Yogi detox tea each AM. It seems to be working well. > > My acupuncturist is from China and is very knowledgeable about herbs. > he said to be careful with sarsaparilla, because it can be toxic. Guest guest
Buhner is not from China, I don't think, but he IS very knowledgeable about herbs. He states in his " healing Lyme " book that it can cause Intestinal Upset IF taken in very large doses. Otherwise it is an excellent herb to take whether you have Lyme or not. As it is good for MANY things besides Lyme healing. Guest guest
HI, Anne, I'm bunni, I'm actually taking a break from my 'killer' herbs. I wasn't sure whether to take a break from the sarsaparilla or not. the reason I'm doing this is because I got alot better for awhile, but then I got really sick again and have not been able to get better since. I have been thinking about seeing an acupuncturist for awhile. Does yours mix your acupuncture with his own concoction of herbs (like a really bitter tea)? i known of some that do that and then some that don't. i was wondering if one would even need to do buhner's herbs if they were already doing acupunturist's herbs. Have you had much success from acupuncture? My main problem is very profound fatigue. I've always kind of assumed that acupuncture can help pain, but not fatigue, at least not the ridiculous kind that I have. AM I totally wrong about that? thanks, bunni. PS I'm going to go ahead and take a break from sarsaparilla just in case. > > My acupuncturist is from China and is very knowledgeable about herbs. > he said to be careful with sarsaparilla, because it can be toxic. Guest guest
I can't understand WHY some of you people STOP Buhner's recommended herbs when you feel worse. I would think, and certainly would myself, take MORE of them and add his expanded protocols too. I would hate to think where I would be IF I had stopped. Ugh! I think about cutting down more almost every day but am scared to as i know I am not cured yet. I sure don't want to ruin all I have gained the past 15 months.
