Jeannine - Did you ever find out 'what' was happening??? I've been having

these 'power blackouts' for well over 18 mos now. Sometimes they feel like

I fell asleep for 2-5 seconds, sometimes longer. It's weird when you're

watching something on TV and you've realized that part of the sentence is

missing... May 98 I was standing on a chair hanging border in my breakfast

room when I suddenly woke up in a heap in the corner on the floor. I don't

remember feeling dizzy or even falling. Just suddenly finding myself

there. (Cracked a rib too...) I don't know how long I was out, but it was

early evening when I was standing on the chair, and dark when I woke up.

Too many times I suddenly realize I've " lost time " . Aside from aspirin,

I'm not on anything. I'v been on and off of some stuff, but these have

never occured while on anything. So, what is it????? Seizures?

The same thing happened to me (left side tho') but not alot of electrical

sensations other than tingling and a numbing on the left side of my head &

face, then into my shoulder, arm & hand. In fact I remember not being able

to lift my left arm. My daughter was with me and I told her I was passing

out. We were right by an entrance to some stip mall and I pulled in. I

simply pulled into the first spot and stopped the car. I was scared out of

my mind, not to mention she was pretty well rattled too. She managed to

get someone to answer her pounding on the door (some Dr's office was

closed, but lights were on) and I was taken to the emergency room. OF

COURSE there was nothing wrong - same crap - you must be under severe

stress or need a shrink... I think the only thing I was doing then was IV

Claforan and yogurt...
