Her daughter, who had a lot of psychiatric Lyme symptoms, is now a practicising psychologist or psychiatrist. And although her son was so physically ill that he was unable to even attend school until his last year of high school, he just graduated from an excellent collge and is beginning post-grad studies at a very prestigious college - ON SCHOLARSHIP! He is brillant, has a great sense of humor, very down to earth, and wants to teach math. So please don't lose hope - I truly believe that Meredith will get better and will eventually catch up on so much of what she's missed. You're a very courageous woman and Meredith is very lucky to have you for her Mom! I've read that many Lyme sufferers use Amantadine for this purpose. Hope this helps. Patty
