Guest guest
Connie, Buhner writes on page 161 of Healing Lyme that Bromelain " has also been found to enhance CD57, expression which makes it useful in late-stage or chronic Lyme infections. " I've been taking a digestive enzyme mix for years which has bromelain in it, but in relatively small amounts (obviously not enough to raise my CD57). Supplements with Bromelain only are available, and I've also seen it in mixed formulas. Buhner recommends it mixed with Curcumin, however that ingredient didn't agree with my digestive tract when I tried it a few years ago. Bromelain is an " isolated constituent of pineapple. " The best alternative might be moving to Hawaii and drinking pina coladas on the beach every day. Ann
