Hi....I'm still here

Hi gang,

So sorry I have not posted much on the list lately, having lots of pain,

and both arms and legs totally numb. I had an appt. with the neurologist

last Wednesday, I could have phoned that appt in. He wants to do an EMG,

but demands a referral from Aetna first, last year when I saw him he

performed an EMG without it, but guess something changed. So back I go for

another referral and will get the EMG this coming Wednesday.

Not looking forward to it, I know they hurt, but there has to be a reason

for the pain and increased tingling of my extremities, I highly suspect

peripheral neuropathy, but need the doctor to confirm it. Not sure what

they can do about it, if anything. The neuro did allow me to increase my

Neurontin to 1200mg a day, that's up 300, must be making me tired as I sleep

quite a bit.

I am in a bit of a funk, and that is another reason I haven't posted, not

good if the main list moderator is depressed and posts, soon as I crawl out

of this hole I have dug, I will be back. Meantime, all of you are in my

thoughts and prayers, I know I owe quite a few of you emails, I will get to

them as soon as I can.

Tick found in scalp, August 1996. I live in South Jersey

and my tick bite was from here. Tested positive for HME

& Lyme disease in Feb 1997. Have had 6 weeks of IV,

on oral meds for over 3 years now. Suffering from Peripheral

Neuropathy, Herniated cervical discs. Still herx monthly.
