Hi ,

I think what you're doing is a so needed and I know very appreciated.

So many of us are lucky enough to feel this same exhilaration every time

we're able to help another human being - especially those with Lyme.

And you're absolutely right - no one should have to go through this

disease alone.

Great job, !!! :D

Damn, I feel so bad for what you're going through, Reid. This week or

so will certainly be a very important one for you - this is not an easy

decision to make. But for now, you have to do what's best for YOU, and

remember that any decision you make does not have to be permanent.

You know that we're all here for you and will help in any way we can.

Take care and may God guide you in making the right decision for this

time of your life.

Hugs,

Patty (MD)

Reid - I agree with you 99%! The 1% disagreement has only to do with

insurance companies that require positive blood test results before they

will approve treatment for Lyme - usually IV treatment. Until that

stupid requirement of theirs can be changed, many won't get the

treatment they need from some doctors and insurance companies without

some kind of positive tests. Does this suck - you bet it does - big

time!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. In a way, I think Lyme is

harder for men because of society's " male macho " crap. I hope that he

is able to derive some comfort from his male buddy. :D

And, yes, we're very glad you're back!!!!!
