Guest guest
Hi all, I have been having more and more problems with Chance and his attitude when things dont go his way. I think it was Libby who said her daughter sometimes acts out, or has problems staying on task, but am not sure. Was just wondering how many other young kids have these emotional outbursts? Yesterday was really bad. At physical therapy last week he had a " good day " . He hopped on one foot 13 times, when usually could only do 4 times. Well yesterday he could only hop once then he fell. This happened several times, and he got mad, threw a ball (he holds during hopping) across the room, started whining and screaming about how his feet werent working. Also yesterday I got a call from his summer school teacher about how he disrupts class often but yesterday was real bad. They had taken a walk on trails (and she didnt let me know so he wore these sandle/flip flop) and was having a hard time walking the trails in them, throwing a fit etc. Then he also had counseling yesterday, and it was a group setting, some kid threw the ball and chance fell trying to get it, then went off on the little boy saying it was his fault and screaming etc. I hate to blame CMT for some of this, but we all have our mood swings. Could Chance be having these, and just not be able to deal with it in a " proper manner " If any of you have this problem with your kids, what do you do? I am at the end of my rope.
