Dear Marta, Thanks for the info for the spinal tap. I am having it done

tomarrow morning and I am getting nervous. As for the insurance if I decide

to leave this job, thankfully I am covered under hubbies insur. Every day

it gets harder and harder for me to work, I work in a busy family practice.

Its getting harder and harder for me to concentrate and try to stay awake. i

really dont know what I am gonna do.

Hi Deb,

Good luck with the spinal tap, please keep us posted on how you do, who

knows I may need to get one too to convince my insurance to pay for IV.

Regardless of the risk I would probably try it, not that I expect them to

find spirochetes in my spinal fluid, but to rule out other diseases. I know

I have LD, no doubt in my mind, but the three brain lesions could be MS, and

the insurers may want to rule that out too.

I am grateful to hear you are not just working for the insurance...not sure

if Virginia has short term disability programs, but if they do please look

into them, I guess you will know in your heart when you can not make it work

anymore, I did. It was a long hard road fighting for SSDI, but I do not

regret a minute of it now. I wish you luck and you will be in my prayers

today when you go for the spinal tap.
