Barb, It is public record, so I agree with your sharing...and god bless you

for taking the time to type up what you did....

..I was going to give my copy to my LLMD, as he had heard about Oren's and

said if the wave continues noone will treat Lyme Disease.....

When I walked into my Dr's office for the first time I had typed up a 3 page

medical history...as best as I could gather.....and I would bet money it is

better than ANYthing any Dr. has ever written on me....and I brought any

pertinent lab work copies for my chart, so he was not beginning from

scratch......

He is very careful and always discusses a treatment plan...and he notates

everything....he also uses a prescription pad that makes duplicates, so each

chart has a record of what he has ordered, and he can dispute any pharmacy

errors...which in this day and age...is also a good thing for a doctor to

do...

I know people often Fax Dr. B. in LI, and he faxes them back. I am sure he

keeps records in the chart...so I am hoping our LLMD's are savvy...but we as

patients have to try to help our doctors if we can...Bernadette

I just want to remind everyone that if they want their own copy of what the

OPMC did to Dr. Orens you can write to them and ask them for their

information regarding this case. Here the email address of the person I've

been in contact with. Just be sure to give them your home address to they

can mail you their packet of information.

Thanks Robynn,

I just received my package today. They sure are slow! I wrote on Dec. 8 and

9th. I haven't read it yet, but have been reading what everyone else is

saying about it. Wish we could get a hold of all the records and the

transcripts. Thanks for this message, when I saw it I thought, geesh, why

didn't I think of posting that. Thanks Vicki, Md

from what i read........he is not guilty of bad medicine just bad record

keeping ......which now a days is the only way to cover ur butt......when he

started out years ago medical records did not have to be as complete as now

adays hey they even made house calls back then......it is up 2 us all to

question our docs on their medical record keeping for both ours and their

sake.......i know my doc does substantial records as they are the size of a

phione book and my attorney commented that with these records are case will

be much easier to prove......i guess i was blessed......good luck to doc

orens .....however i feel the lack of accurate records will only make his

appeal harder......yet i am still proud to have been able to protest on his

behalf.....Reid
