Guest guest
Selma, I didn't know vit B feeds spirocetes in the intestines. Is it safe to take the vit B's at all, that you know of? I was depending on my vit B's for energy. I've actually had to stop taking all my vitamins for a while b/c I think I was overloading my system on them. I was only taking the recommended dosage. Anyway, it started out me nearly vomiting everytime I would take vitamin C and I tried different brands of C- unbuffered, buffered, chewable, effervescent. I used to not have that problem until I had been on core protocol. Then I started experiencing the same nearly vomiting thing with my other vitamins. I just assumed that my body was rejecting these supplements for a reason and that it was best to take some time off. what does anyone else think? > > Me too, I'm like Ann, in many of your same supps and with herbs for > more than a year, no interaction that I know. Guest guest
Connie said it all. I didn't feel any change after stopping B vitamins, but maybe you need them. I know some of the Bs don't feed the ketes, but forgot which ones... Lymenet got discussions in the past about that, you could do a search there. Magnesium is also said to feed them, but I can't live without it due to cramps. It's a matter of balance. I stopped B's because I felt no difference. Stopping magnesium knocked me down. I always stop taking things that cause me nausea. I don't know if this is a good thing to do for everyone, but I don't think it's right to feel nauseous after herbs/ supps. My ART doctor told me he never found any multivitamin supplement sold in the market that tests good for anyone. Even the most expensive ones sold over the counter. Another thing that he said tests always negative are anticonceptional pills. Probably there's always something bad there or there's one or two elements there that each individual reacts badly. Who knows? I never take these multivits for long (they're a sort of 'emergency' for me, I take them when I'm lost, when I feel I may need something that I don't know what, but then interrupt it as soon as I can, when I can get ART tested or so...). I'm a believer that a lot of anything can be as bad as lack of something. Even good bacteries for the intestines in excess could cause bad reactions, it seems! I was also taking LOADS of supplements (lost my counting) before I got ART tested. The number of supplements which were tested essential were not many, then there were the second line ones (good, but not essential) and the others that were neutral or negative. I stopped taking these last ones and the number of supps fell considerably. Funny thing is that I didn't miss them! Vit Bs were one of them, CoQ10 another. With the months passing, I started trusting both ART and my instinct, I now believe ART is an excellent help in case of complicated diseases like lyme.
