Hi Ellen,

The Salt/C protocol was originated by the good people at

http://lymephotos.com/

The group lymestrategies is for those on the protocol and is run by Marc

Fett who cured himself with it. There's a ton of good information on that group

about Salt/C and everything else related to lyme.

Basically, you start on one gram of sea salt, or whole salt (NEVER table salt)

taken with one gram of vitamin C. Then keep adding a gram as you are able to

tolerate it. Usually no more than one additional gram a week. It is really tough

but kills parasites as well as lyme bugs.

Ellen,

There is a good summary at

http://kurtsprotocol.blogspot.com/2005/07/executive-summary-of-saltc.html

I have tried it to some extent, but I tend to be impatient and keep ramping up

too quickly and having to back off so I can leave the bathroom. :) But my Lyme

symptoms were better. I'll have to start again.

My LLMD said it was fine to try as long as my blood pressure remained normal.
