Guest guest
Connie, I remember when you were posting about insomnia on another group it occurred to me natural progesterone cream might help. It's been one of the best things I've ever used for insomnia. Can really make the muscles feel relaxed if you're deficient. But I seemed to recall you were pretty young, around 24 or so? All hormones do start to decrease as soon as age 25. But someone posted recently that Andrographis can possibly inhibit progesterone (I just found an article that mentioned that as well) so it's possible you could need some. Heck, I was having terrible hormonal symptoms starting around 20. Extreme hot flashes -- going from icy cold down to my bones to sweltering hot and sweating within the blink of an eye. Most especially severe at night when I was trying to sleep. It sure made no sense whatsever to me at that age that I would be experiencing " menopausal symptoms! " Of course now that I know that can be caused by lyme it all makes sense. Woo. Sure wasn't fun to have to wait over 20 years though to find that out. I use Progesta-Care bought from my local health food store. The brands with pumps that measure out the doses seem to be the highest quality. in AK Connie <conniekillbug@...> wrote: Hi All, Sorry for re-posting this but did not receive an answer last time so thought Id send again to see if anyone new sees it... I am wondering if anyone has had trouble with insomnia on andrographis? If so, how in the world do you continue on this herb and keep your sleep in order? I am on an average-high dose per my LLMD. It does not state in Buhner's book that andrographis is also for co-infections, but my doc seemed to think that my body wanted this for co-infections, too, esp. babesia! So just an FYI, it may also be useful for co-infections, for anyone who is interested. Guest guest
Hi Connie, Maybe you could try cutting down your dose a Buhner suggests. Also if you are open have someone muscle test you for amount. One size does not fit all. Good to see you here Joyce Connie <conniekillbug@...> wrote: Hi All, Sorry for re-posting this but did not receive an answer last time so thought Id send again to see if anyone new sees it... Guest guest
Hi Connie, I looked at my notes from when I started the protocal and I wasn't sleeping well but it's leveled out now. Blessings to your healing Joyce Connie <conniekillbug@...> wrote: > Hi All, > > Sorry for re-posting this but did not receive an answer last time so > thought Id send again to see if anyone new sees it... > > I am wondering if anyone has had trouble with insomnia on > andrographis? Guest guest
Connie, I use a pendulum between dr visits and body can do alot of shifts as to what it needs. I ramp up and down depending if I can't handle herxes and intuition. Still not easy. But I feel better in just 2 mo on Buhner protocal. Still doing S & C but small doses. Take care. Hope you get to sleeping well.
