Guest guest
Connie, I was so impressed with all the great displays your Michigan group put together, and just the fact that you were there, you and Bev and was Eileen part of the Michigan group? You guys were great - great quilts too. It was great to meet you all. Vicki, Md BTW - happy to see you made it home safely despite the bad weather. That's why we left Saturday night instead of Sunday morning. >HELLO EVERYONE, > It was wonderful to meet all of you. Lovette and her husband and family >did a wonderful job. It felt like everyone there understood all the problems >we have. > THE MICHIGAN LYME DISEASE ASSOC. >THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK. >WE WERE HAPPY TO BE A PART OF IT. >

Guest guest
Dear Vicki, No, I wasn't part of the Michigan group. In fact, when Carol displayed her group's handiwork I was embarassed about mine. I lived most of my life on LI, NY, and now live in NJ. Guest guest
Eileen I know what you mean - Carol's group of quilts were so wonderful and professional. But she is a quitter, so even though (didn't see yours) mine looked like a first grader's art project I still realized it was okay - we all had our own personal touch. Wish I'd seen yours. I plan to make a better one for MOW. Didn't see any scar on your thyroid area. I had a goiter diagnosed at age 16, but didn't have to take Synthroid until age 27. They also wanted to operate on mine, but I had the benefit of knowing what a goiter was, because my mother had one - and I knew a biopsy was useless. But a goiter is different from a cyst. couldn't they have done just a sonogram or something to see it was a cyst? Vicki, Md >Dear Vicki, > No, I wasn't part of the Michigan group. Guest guest
Oh dear, I must have gone to fast with spell check - did I say quitter, not quilter - maybe its my eyes! So sorry Carol, I certainly know you are not a quitter. Thanks Reid for correcting me! Guest guest
Oh Connie, I hope I do as well when I post the pictures. I think it would be easier if I can identify the who is in each picture before I post them. Kept trying to get up close so I could see the name tags, just ask Carol & Bev. LOL Lyme brain, must have taken at least 3 of everyone, so worried I'd forget someone, and I'm sure I did. I think I missed , but not sure, I'll see as soon as I can afford to get them developed. Thanks, hope I got you! Vicki, MD >Hi Vicki,md > We were proud to be there. I am going to try and remember the names. >Here goes.
