Guest guest
a very select few understand LD and RESEARCH LD. many just know the standard text book stuff. do you test postive for any other diseases? this totally knocks the physicians off balance and may be why they are unsure as to what to do. most MD's want to discuss LD but don't want to treat it, this is what i have found anyway. >From: jill schwartz <jilljb@...> > > >Hi. Guest guest
Hi Jill, Sorry to hear that you've been feeling lousy and having no luck w/the Drs. I have found that as my symptoms increased, I was handed off from one Dr. to the next without treatment...just more tests. Eventually, my neurologist agreed to give me very minimal treatment for Lyme, and and an antidepressant. I finally found a LLMD, but had to wait 2 1/2 months to get an appt. I will be seeing him next week. I hope that he will be able to treat ALL of my symptoms. I think that it is a good thing that your Lyme Dr. wants you to be seen by other specialists. That way they can rule ot the other major diseases which may in turn help your Lyme Dr. treat you. I would be curious to know who your Lyme Dr. is, if you would like to e-mail me, as I also live on Long Island. Hang in there and feel better.
