Guest guest
Ann I sometimes get myoclonus seizures (muscle convulsions) after intense chemical fume exposures or from taking medications (i'm chemically sensitive). i haven't had any of these symptoms since taking the herbs (but i'm still at a low dose). i take andrographis (nature's way), resveratrol (natural sources) and Smilax (dr. zhang's brand with other proprietary herbs). i have had a lot of neurological reactions to other brands i've tried however, including 1st chinese. it really depends what your sensitivities are and what brands your body tolerates. i also buy boneset tea from mountain rose herbs. Guest guest
-Ann S, If I were you, I would ask Buhner your question. I don't know if he will know the answer, but I know you are taking some powerful drugs for seizure, so I would want to check it out. Go to the links page, go to Planet Thrive and there you can ask Buhner a question directly. good luck ellen -- In , " nnspence " <nnspence@...> wrote: > > I plan to start Buhner's protocol slowly with the androphagis, smilax, > and red root. > > My question is if any of these will worsen myoclonic seizures (muscle > jerks). Guest guest
Ann, I would appreciate it you would share the answer with us if you do ask Buher about klonopin interaction with the herbal protocol. He does say something about 'hypnotics'; perhaps that smilax can bind them though I'm not sure. I take klonopin for sleep and didn't think it would be a problem. I'm having a bad spell with sleep, but that's so 'normal' for me that I can't attach it to taking the herbs (which I don't take at bedtime like I do the klonopin). jo

Guest guest
I tried to reply and it didn't go through, so here is my reply again. I did e-mail Buhner at his webiste. However, there is a note there saying he gets so many e-mails now that he may not reply to them. I also posted the question on Planet Thrive. Since I take klonopin 3 times a day, I have a hard time with certain meds, or detox, or fiber. We need a one-pill cures all medicine. LOL If I find out any information I will certainly pass it on. God Bless. Ann S. > > Ann, I would appreciate it you would share the answer with us if you do > ask Buher about klonopin interaction with the herbal protocol.
