go to her home for the heat therapy in her garden tub and stays with me

through the time, she calls almost daily to see how I am doing, she takes

me shopping but moves at my pace, and frequently brings me gifts, she

calls me before going to the grocery to see if I need anything. I could

go on and on. She is a TRUE FRIEND and I LOVE HER. (SNIP)

She showed me, I HAVE WORTH, to her. This is all to

say, there are true friends out there that you may not have met yet, but

dont give up the search. Dont be afraid to reach out and say I NEED YOU.

WILL YOU BE THERE FOR ME? I am TRULY BLESSED. lovey

Hi,

I have also lost friends - long term friendships and even husband. But I

do have 3 friends who have hung in and they also are the TRUE friends - and

people as this are rare. The grief I experienced was unbearable - I shut

down thinking I was worth nothing because of these losses and also loss of

career and marriage. I am doing better now, but never thought so many

could be so cruel. It has been a major lesson. Even if I were to get well,

I would never be the same emotionally and would always remain on guard.

But I am so grateful to those few who do genuinely care!

Take care,

Christie

Christie, you have traveled a road no one should have to trod but you are

the stronger for it. Do not become bitter and reclusive. You are not

responsible for the actions of others. They are the ones with faulty

friendships. I call them " fairweather friends " and can live without

them. God's Word tells us to take ourselves out from among those who

would persecute and defile us. They actually did you a favor by leaving.

Never regret their leaving. Now you have an opportunity to make new

friends with better traits than your past " friends. " Start a Homepage,

join a craft club, learn to water color paint, become a public speaker

for Lyme. There are many things yet undiscovered in the world and inside

yourself, look for them. I took a watercolor class before i started

i.v. therapy and kept everybody laughing except for the instructor! Join

a support group. If there isnt one, start one. You, and only you can

make a difference in your life. God doesnt make no junk! Havent you

ever heard the song " Broken Pieces " . He can put us back together when

the world tears us apart. I believe it. I know He can. He put me back

together and brings people to my door. A young man called me yesterday

to try to sell me a cemetary plot, we started chatting, this young man

was amazed to discover that he has most of the symptoms for lyme disease.

He never did sell me anything. Ha. Keep on keeping on, the light at the

end of the tunnel is getting brighter and bigger! lovey
