julie

thanks for adding that page to Planet Thrive.

by the way, i wrote up a document paraphrasing what each of buhner's

herbs

is good for (i didn't finish it however - a trend with me - not

finishing things).

i wonder if this should be posted on your site or on the buhner

files -

but i'm also concerned that if this were posted on a website - people

might

not actually read Buhner's book (and i think it's important that Buhner

makes

a profit for his brilliant work). what do you think, Selma?

anyway...here's the cliff notes that i wrote up so far. hopefully i

didn't get

anything wrong, and like i said, it's very incomplete.

Steve,

This is very thoughtful of you to share. Thanks for taking the time to

post this.

My thought is that you can e mail Buhner and ask his

permission to post it here in the files.

,

I'm a bit swamped at the moment but wanted to say if I was starting the

protocol again (I think I posted here previously on what I did with the

protocol),

I would add Smilax sooner. I started it last out of andro, resv, cat's and

smilax. I noticed a huge improvement after I added Smilax and I think it may

have

been it's ability to bind endotoxins - when you read Buhner's book it sounds

like Smilax is the one that helps most with herxes.

Of course, we're all different, but if anyone else had this jump in

improvement happen with Smilax, please share.

Anyway, , you sound like you have good energy around starting the

protocol :-)

Congrats and Good luck, dear!

Steve,

I also think it is *very* important that people read his book -

because as you said he should make some profit, also because he has so

much information which would be impossible to do justice to by

summarizing.

And he has cautions.

And I think his first chapter where he discusses the disease itself is

vital to anyone trying to comprehend this difficult disease.

I think all of us can share our experience, but there is not

substitute for reading the book. And I agree with you - some people,

understandably, esp if they are experiencing 'lyme brain', may find it

easier to just follow someone's info, without reading the book.

Thanks Yarrow. I actually already input the Lyme indications for all herbs

on my site, in the second link I posted yesterday. I only put the basics and

have a note that anyone following the protocol should read the book, with a

direct link to buy the book. The list you put together would be great to

post in the files on -Buhner site! It is very confusing to decide

how much to take, what form, and where to buy it. Any help in breaking it

down I'm sure would be appreciated!

Ann, JUlie, I also waited way to long to add Smilax. I also do the Boneset tea

that is helping me. And I use jnutra.com neuro-antitoxII Basic. One of the most

reasonable of his products,as they are pretty expensive. I have found that I

have Bart, and Babs so working on that. I am pulseing Art for babs. Pretty strong

mecicine.

Steve, sorry for the delay, busy days lately!

I loved your summary. I never had a very very terrible brain fog 100%

of the time, but I'm sure some people had/have and would get help from

your summary.

As for letting it in the archives, maybe you could just leave the CP

herbs there?? Dr. K. already made a small summary and let in his

homepage, yours is only a bit more detailed.

Just my own opinion. If anyone is to start Buhner's protocol without

the book, I don't know, it seems too risky not to read all contra-

indications, side effects etc. I personally would never do it like just

reading a summary.

Joyce,

Thanks for writing....

I just checked ou the neuro-antitoxII Basic that you mention here. It

looks interesting. I don't really understand what the " Silphium

laciniatum " ....any researchers here who know about it? Have you

noticed any shifts with this supplement?

I can't remember if you deal with bad headaches. I do, and would love

to have something help me on the level of healing the cause. Taking

even one capsule of the raintree catsclaw ups the severity of the

headaches.

Anyone else taking the neuro-antitox? It looks promising.

Warmth and peace to all,

yarrow

Thanks Ann! I am really thankful you posted this reminder...I will definitely

start the Smilax

either first or with Andro. Much thanks for taking the time to post this!
