Marie,

The only thing that is weird, is this disease, not your feelings about it.

Don't worry you aren't alone, we all feel, or have at one time felt this

way. I'm just so glad you decided to wait to take the abx's. I've been on

Doxy and haven't had a weight gain problem. Just lots of yeast problems. But

I follow a low carb diet and that helps both the yeast and the weight

problem. It actually makes you lose weight, but it isn't healthy to stay on

for long, and all the protein you eat on it, you have to be careful to eat a

lot of low fat proteins, like skinless baked chicken, etc. Anyway try to

socialize as much as possible during the holidays, because once you start

the abx's you will get worse first, before getting better. Good luck. And

P.S. Lyme can cause you to have CF and Fibro, so many of us were first

diagnosed with these before getting the real diagnosis!
