Lawyer, attorney, Juris Doctorate.

Unfortunately alot of the docs that are also lawyers are unable to

represent anyone in court because they are not in active practice.

The friend of mine that is a surgeon is also a lawyer and is very up to

date on all the laws and such but he cant represent me because he is

not a practicing attorney and never took the bar.

The upside to this is that he knows the best malpractice lawyers and

referred me to one of his good friends that has a very impressive win

record.

Cant wait for everyone to get a letter from him. Most docs cringe just

hearing the name.
