Guest guest
Hey Debi and Reid, I've been with this group for some time too. I love both of your posts. I don't think either one of you are really angry. I just think that we are fighting to get the same treaments that Reid has been able to get. Unfortunately it just isn't that easy. You need various things, the right documentation of signs/symptoms by a Dr., certain diagnositic tests, all during certain times. On top of that, you need a bunch of other tests to rule out other diseases. Something as simple as anemia, can cause you not to get certain treaments paid for by insurance. Do you know if you get bitten by another tick, that can cause the insurance company to have you start all over from the beginning!! No matter how far into treatment you are.??? There are so many variables. Its not really getting the Dr. to correctly Diagnosis Lyme. Its getting the insurance company to believe our DRs...thats the real issue. I think thats what to two of you were trying to get across to one another. So lets just continue to help....I for one need to know as much as possible, to get the things I need to have my insurance cover my treatments.....so everyone please share....Connie nwnj
