Guest guest
Hi Fransea, The Michgan newsletter is the TickTalk, you can subscribe by sending your name to Ticktalk2@.... It is usually 10.00 per year, but that can be waved. Or you can send it to Me at MLDA 35431 Brush St. Wayne, MI 48184 It is bimonthly and our editor is really good about reading scientific articles and summarizing them. I am having a better day today due to lessened humidity...some of my swelling went down. I had a horrible night last night, I cried for a half hour after taking my shower......I was in intolerable pain......and it was hotter than hell in my house... But after my son and I shut all the doors to the bedrooms and he slept on the couch and me in my recliner....we put the air conditioner on and it was cool enough after awhile to finally get sleep....I hadn't sleep for over 24 hours because of the swelling and pain. I got at least 6 hours! I see my doc tomorrow... so I will see what he suggests.... have a nice night!!!! Fransea NJ Seashore
Guest guest
Hi Fransea, Thanks for the subscription. It is nice here today but going to get to 91 and humid again. I can only AC two rooms, my house is too big, and the computer is not in the air, I may not do mail for a few days. I hope your pain is better. I am feeling better than I have been in months. Zithromax really helps me. if I go off it I really get lots of pain. Who know? Hugs and stay comfortable. Connie, mI

Who > know? > Hugs and stay comfortable. > Connie, mI Hello Connie: I'm melting here!!!!!! Heat index is at 115!!!! We only have one air unit and one fan.....and the air conditioner keeps shutting down when I use the computer during the day!!! I only wish I could sweat!!!! I never sweat....just oooze grease out of my face!! I am really very down and have been since Sat. I saw my doc on Thurs. He put me on Doxy orals cause I had been on Ceftin orals for my rashes and it helped some...but not all...plus I told him I had a herx with the Ceftin. He also prescribed Xenical....to try and help me lose weight.... not that I eat that much fat anyway....but it would take care of what I do. I was so happy...even tho my B/P was sky high and my feet and legs so swollen I could not wear shoes!! I went into docs barefoot!!! I was seeing possibility of potential improvement.....Doc did labs....PCR and Liver Function....(after I told him I felt like I was toxic inside....and that is what I thought was causing all the weird rashes and lesions) Womens intuition strikes again!!! I hate it that I know me so well!! The next morning I get a call from the PA at docs office...to go right away and get more labs....the LFT again and Lipids and Chem and all the Hepatitis...A-B-C!!! My enzymes were MUCH HIGHER than they had ever been before....(I don't know the numbers wish I did tho) my bilirubin and SGOT...these were the ones I was told....but could be others.....I gotta get ultrasound of liver too.....but didn't know has to be fatfree eating 24hr before....now I gotta go Thurs for that. My hubby called the doc and they couldn't get the results....but my hubby told him I have had very light stools for awhile now...(I didn't know it was liver related!) and I have had a low grade fever every night since Friday....100...which goes down by morning. So....I am OFF OF MY NEURONTIN.....(which could be causing liver damage) I am in agony now with the pain in my legs....the mononeurapathy multiplex has come back full force!!! I can't take the Doxy, can't start the Xenical.....can't even take a Tylenol!!! Gotta wait for these labs... so I should know tomorrow morning. If the Heps are negative...then I know for certain its not hepatitis.....but if they are positive...then it means I got one of them for sure!! (no false positives and false negatives for hepatitis) Only med that doc increased that I can take...every other day...is the Lasix 80mg....which has not helped 100 percent yet!!! Feet and legs are still swollen...my hubby measured them...and my left is at least 1 inch bigger than my right at many areas!!! I am sure this heat is hurting me too!!! We need a new airconditioner bad!!! I have beeen so depressed.....its the not knowing that kills me....and there are so many liver diseases....some of which I have symptoms...so we shall just have to pray and wait and see. I didn't want to write to the group about this cause I didn't want to ruin anyones holiday. But after getting your caring letter, Connie, I started to cry and just needed to get it out before I have a heart attack!!! By the way yes, my liver has been hurting for quite awhile!!! My gallbladder is gone...but the pain is still very much there!!! time will tell, I hope taking the meds is not the cause. ...I won't be able to survive without them!!! I would have taken a dive a long time ago if not for the pain relief I got from Neurontin!! love & hugs, Fransea NJ Seashore

Guest guest
Dear Fransea, Try to be in a cool place and be off your feet. I know pain. It makes me sick when I hear about anyone suffering. I do not know what is really going on but I am sure very, very soon, you can get pain relief. I am praying for you.
