I can identify with your concern re school packbacks! Drives me crazy to see

these kids carrying these things. BUT.....I worked in ER/Walk in Care for

many years and we saw relatively few injuries....and those we did see were

usual shoulder pain from overuse, that resolved with rest and

anti-inflammatories. In this community these types of things are usually seen

in ER. If the back packs were worn with BOTH straps over the shoulders as

designed, I believe it would be much better ergonomically.....but of course

that isn't cool. Does your school not have lockers for the kids.....or is

there no time between classes to go to the lockers? I can't think right now

where you would find info re this.....but will think on it for a bit.
