VitB12 is for your nerves. Also take acidophilus. I spoke with local herbal store and this is what they recommended for gastritis. slippery elm turmeric marshmellow root capsules st. john's wort chamomile callengella [sp] There is a formula called anti-inflammatory which contains: tumeric marshmellow root capsules st. john's wort chamomile Anti-microbial: grapefruit seed extract Connective tissue health: grape seed extract [i was taking this and feeling really good but can't take it when I flare up.] Be careful with grapefruit seed extract and grape seed extract are both astringents so they would irritate the stomach. I am going to try grape seed and marshmellow root capsules together. Kiana Rossi mailto:bornfree@... ~ ~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ " An idea forms into a collocation of colors and design. Guest guest
Hi Kiana, I wanted to correct something here. When I posted about severe indigestion from the Milk Thistle, I was wrong, it was the calcium that upset my stomach. Actually, after I started to take the Milk Thistle, I began having charley horses, or leg cramps, I wasn't sure if it was related, but I stopped the Milk Thistle just in case. Anyone ever hear of that happening from this? First I got one in the right leg, then the left the next night, and then my right ankle.....they hurt like HELL! Thanks for that list of vitamins and herbs that are helpful for gastritis. I am afraid to take anymore things that may cause me problems. Years ago I was rx'd lots of B6 for PMS, after a few weeks my legs were totally numb. I found out that large amounts can cause this. I am now afraid to take anything other than what the doctor gives me, and not so sure about that either.
