These are not recommended with doxy and tetracycline!

I read the inserts, and they say to avoid them while taking these abx!

Maybe that's why the tetracycline didn't work??

I was taking cranberry extract until I read the label, and saw it also

had a ton of magnesium! I'll stay off it until I'm done with the doxy...

Kay,

I so glad to read about your good news about your daughter. I'm

wondering if I/we could read the papers you read re: antibiotics and

supplements. Thanks (when you have time, of course)

Hi Kay,

Thrilled that Meredith is doing so well....regardless of what the cause.

I am not so sure about the supplements myself. I always fear overdosing

myself due to a bad reaction I had to B6 during my PMS days. I doubt anyone

here on our list will complain that Meredith is doing well, whether it is

attributed to stopping the vitamins or not. I am not sure what Topamax is?

I assume it is a drug.

Wondering if Meredith has found new friends in her new environment,

somehow that helps more than medicine.....as I have learned from all the new

friends I acquired through this list. Please keep us posted, I am so happy

for you both.

Hugs,

Marta NJ

Any heavy minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium will interfere with

antibiotics, because the antibiotic can attach to it, or something like

that. But my doctor told me take it at least an hour after the antibiotic.

The magnesium is especially important with Lyme, it really helps those

muscle twitches. I found a magnesium I could take on an empty stomach at

GNC, it " Proportioned " , I don't know what that means, but I was able to

handle it and I have a super weak stomach. Good luck
