Hi ,

I know no harm was intended.

I don't feel my privacy was invaded. I wouldn't put anything out on an

internet group that I couldn't chance going further.

More importantly this got me thinking of the much bigger topic/picture of

boundaries, which is often on my mind, and gave me an opportunity to write about

it. I appreciate that.

I'm really more interested in how the way we practice boundaries might

enhance our health and well-being. This may be in the realm of physics and

beyond. I

do some occasional work with a holistic practitioner who also has an interest

in this topic and incorporates it's essence into her work. I'm really in the

beginning stages of learning about this.

My post wasn't directly on topic (though was related to " guidelines for this

list), but I was wondering if the topic of boundaries and health might

resonate with anyone else. I hope it provided some food for thought and

encouragement

for anyone who, like me, is doing my human best to practice mindful

boundaries.

Take care all, and Happy Solstice (the light is returning, yippee!!!),

Hi Ann,

I have to apologize if I crossed a boundary, but it was me who posted your

question on Planet Thrive, so others could benefit from the answer. I had no

record of your question being submitted (it was not submitted through the

site) and did not know how to contact you. This has not happened before and

because your question was a general question about minerals and 's

response was very brief, I made the decision to go ahead and post it under

another username. I really apologize that you felt like your privacy was

invaded. I have removed the question from the site and will post it under

your name now that I know your username. I want you to know that no one on

this list has invaded your privacy. In the future, I will post on this list

if I cannot locate the person who submitted the question.

I want to take the time to remind everyone here that the questions submitted

to Buhner through Planet Thrive are not intended to be answered

personally but are part of a public forum on our site. I usually will send

each person 's reply before posting it to the site, with a note

asking them to post directly on the site if they have not already, as some

people have sent in questions via email instead of through the site. The

note will also advise that if the question is not posted by the person who

asked the question, then I will post it under another username so all can

benefit from the answer. If you ever have any issues with a question you

posted on Planet Thrive, please contact me directly. If your question is of

a personal nature and you do not want it posted on the site, you should not

submit a question through the site. Instead, I would encourage you to write

to directly, through his website.

Much peace,

www.PlanetThrive.com

Hi Ellen,

Me too :-)

I was hoping others might have some insights, but I'm also afraid I may be

getting too far off main topic.

I wish I had the language and brain function to articulate all these things

that come up in my head. I think I need a spiritual physicist to help with this

(is there such a thing or is that phrase redundant?).

I've started looking into Essential oils and know they work in areas of the

brain that other things don't reach - the limbic system, I think (there are

lists for this but I haven't perused any yet). I don't know if herbal

powders/capsules can reach the limbic system. They aren't something we generally

inhale (I did accidentally inhale some andro one day when I opened a new bottle

and one of the caps had broken - I didn't notice any unusual reactions) and

they may not be in a form that can do that. Also, the sense of smell supposedly

has a lot to do with it and oils are quite strong/concentrated.

I've heard there are ways to work with oils and " meditations " that supposedly

can address both boundary and immune issues. I'm just so new to this and

haven't tried it that I have no personal experience to share as of yet. Anyone

interested could read up on oils and aromatherapy or ask an aromatherapist.

I think there are many ways to approach the same things, and that all things

are interconnected in some way.

I know there are some people trying Vibrational Therapy for Lyme, and I know

even less about this, how it might work and in what parts of the body, brain,

etc. I love plants so I'm naturally drawn to things like the herbals and

checking out plant oils. I also need to go with the things I'm least skeptical

of.

Thoughts can supposedly affect our health, and that's one thing that seems to

relate to actions and practicing boundaries (and as noted, there are

different types of boundaries). Stress can leave our boundaries more vulnerable,

as it suppresses the immune system, making it easier for pathogens to get the

upper hand (nothing anyone here doesn't know).

I think if we practice (but not with an unrealistic goal of perfection)

improving our boundaries/interactions with people we can feel safer (and more

able

to count on ourselves to handle intrusions as gracefully as possible), reduce

stress, and this can only help health.

Words have so many limitations! I hope this makes some sense (if not the

words themselves then maybe the energy behind them :-).

Hey, Ann,

I definitely relate as far as wishing to be more articulate. People

tell me I am articulate, yet I feel I have such wisdom inside of me

that when it makes it out into the world thru my mouth, doesn't really

reflect what it was when it was inside!

So I want to let you know I *do* understand what you are saying

(below), very well.

regards,

ellen

also- I think the English language, and all the languages with the

same base, are very useful for expressing certain kinds of knowledge,

such as mechanical, linear, and perhaps not so effective in discussing

non-linear ideas.

I just want to say that, as a Polarity practitioner, I am never, ever drained

after a session. I am in fact energized. Every time.

I think the draining happens when we do not know how to clear and align

ourselves, protect ourselves, establish clear boundaries, maintain a tight

container, and continuously renew our own energy. This allows us to work from a

place of abundance.

For anyone near one of these schools, I highly recommend Risley's RYSE

workshops. I have not read her new RYSE book, but I have her Polarity Workbook,

and have found it to be helpful.

Now I need to give myself a kick in the seat of the pants and get back to doing

her exercises every day. :) I have been remiss, and I feel the difference.

Hi , Thanks for sharing. Great you don't have the problem of being drained.

I will check out the book you recommended. Namaste' Joyce
